MARCH 30, 2024The Monarchs are hosting a Charity Hockey Game at Montclair State University Ice Arena on March 30th, 2024 with puck drop at 2pm. Past events have seen participation from Bruce Driver, Ken Daneyko, Brian Mullen, Bernie Nichols, Stephane Matteau and many others. The Monarchs host skating and hockey practices once each week for special needs children and adults. The Monarchs run several programs for special needs athletes including Learn to Skate, Special Hockey and Sled Hockey. Due to the high cost of facilities and equipment, we rely on the help of our supporters like you to help make this sport available to anyone who wishes to participate. December 31, 2023
As we wind down another year, we have seen many great accomplishments by our special needs athletes. We are currently hosting practices at Montclair State University Ice Arena. We have doubled the number of athletes participating since a year ago and they have all come a long way. As we move forward into 2024, our expenses continue to grow while we try to hold the line on tuition increases. We have been able to subsidize our costs through fundraising and are excited to announce the next charity hockey game featuring NHL alumni on Saturday, March 30th at 2pm at Montclair State University Ice Arena in Little Falls, NJ. The support of the hockey community is amazing and we thank you for your continued support. Brad Meyers and The Monarchs Board of Directors www.monarchs.us
